cover of Genome Research Vol 36 Issue 6
Current Issue:

The broader goal of Genome Research is to publish research findings that offer novel insights into the structure, function, and biology of genomes and the biology of diseases. Specific areas of interest include proteomics, systems biology, single-cell biology, and genomic medicine. We also seek to publish papers advancing our knowledge of genome evolution, mechanisms of mutation, and population structure and history.

The journal has become particularly interested in publishing research using whole-exome and whole-genome sequencing to identify and characterize human diseases, including (but not limited to) apparently Mendelian disorders and cancer, as well as studies that integrate reference data from diverse experiments for functionally characterizing genomes.
