High-Throughput Imaging of Brain Gene Expression

Tissue Acquisition

Brain tissue was obtained in frozen coronal hemi-sections from the Brain and Tissue Bank for Developmental Disorders and the National Neurological Research Specimen Bank.  As shown, prior to extracting RNA, the tissue was scored to allow digital documentation of anatomical structures within each voxel.
