Expression of StM26, CxM26, and CxM42 within the brain and in peripheral tissues assessed using real-time quantitative RT–PCR. mRNA levels were calculated relative to the tissue sample in which expression is maximum (i.e., the striatum for StM26, and the somatosensory cortex for CxM26 and CxM42).
