23andMeLogo Winners of the Genome Research poster competition at the “The Biology of Genomes” meeting are announced.

Congratulations to Grand Prize winner, Antigone Dimas, who was awarded Personal Genome Service from 23andMe, $250, and a one year personal subscription to Genome Research for her outstanding poster presentation entitled, "Exploring Epistatic Effects between Regulatory and Protein-coding Variation,” and to Second Prize winner, Dr. Tomás Vinar, who won $250 and a one year personal subscription to Genome Research for his outstanding poster presentation entitled, "Reconstructing Duplication Histories of Complex Tandem Arrays in Multiple Primate Species."

Awards were presented May 9, 2008 at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory during the meeting, "The Biology of Genomes."
