
Congratulations to Grand Prize winner, David Thybert, who was awarded $500 and a one year personal subscription to Genome Research for his outstanding poster presentation. A postdoctoral fellow at the European Bioinformatics Institute, David presented the poster entitled, “Evolutionary mechanisms and divergence rates of tissue-specific transcription factor binding revealed by analysis in multiple, closely spaced rodent species.”

Tuuli, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Geneva Medical School, presented the poster entitled, “Integration of
transcriptome and genome sequencing uncovers functional variation in human populations.”
A postdoctoral fellow at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Olli presented the poster entitled, “Recessively inherited
deletion confers risk for schizophrenia and intellectual disability.”
