Supplementary Figure 3. Single Feature Polymorphisms (SFPs) are defined on a per-probe basis as a difference in hybridization signal between the two genotypes. Hybridization signals for individual PM probes are indicated on the y-axis (Bay-0 = blue bars; Sha = red bars) for each of the 11 probes of a probe set (x-axis). In these two examples, probe 6 shows a SFP between Bay-0 and Sha. SFPs may be observed when the two genotypes show similar levels of gene expression (panel A,) or when there is an expression level polymorphism (ELP; panel B).
