Arm lengths were calculated as the sum of centiMorgans between the two end RAPDs of every linkage group, plus 20 cM for each linkage group end, plus 20 cM on each side of each unlinked RAPD. (20 cM is the maximum distance at which linkage can be detected at lod > 3 with 32 meiotic segregants.
