Disease-related TFs are disrupted in relevant cell types. Scaled TF disruption scores Formula are shown for 119 Yoruba individuals for TFs associated with coronary artery disease (CAD) (A) or Crohn's disease (CD) (B). Each point represents the scaled TF disruption score for a disease-related (CD or CAD) TF, for a given individual for a given cell type (LCL, CM, or iPSC). Disease-related TFs were identified using the GWAS catalog (Buniello et al. 2019). Scaled TF disruption scores for CAD-related TFs are highest in the cardiac-related cell type (CM). Scaled TF disruption scores for CD-related TFs are highest in the immune cell type, LCL.
