Gcn4 binding profiles in the vicinity of the ARG1 gene (G-SELEX and ChIP-seq data). All data were normalized against a genomic average of one, and tracks were plotted in Integrative Genomics Viewer. Gcn4 binds to the ARG1 promoter site in vitro (G-SELEX: biological replicate experiments indicated by the top three tracks), confirming findings from ChIP-seq data (bottom three tracks: induced cells, uninduced cells, and cells lacking Gcn4 [Rawal et al. 2018]). Vertical black bars indicate AP-1 motif locations with motif type (see below). More examples are provided in Supplemental Figure S1.
