Plasma cfRNA landscape provides resourceful solutions for COVID-19 research. (A) Activated anti-virus responses in both mild and severe patients may attenuate lung infection in COVID-19 patients. (B) Enhanced cytokine storm mediated by differentially expressed miRNAs and lncRNAs may aggravate lung injury in COVID-19 patients. (C) tRNA pool perturbation may facilitate SARS-CoV-2 infection which could be considered as a novel target for SARS-CoV-2 vaccine development. (D) Pathogenic microorganisms can be codetected in COVID-19 patients.
