The UAS-cDNA/ORF constructs generated by CRISPRmass were functional in the presence of GAL4 in Drosophila. UAS-CG7747, UAS-Prdm13, and 38 UAS-DUB transgenes were screened for phenotypes by crossing to eye-specific GMR-GAL4 (A), wing-specific A9-GAL4 (B), and muscle-specific MEF2-GAL4 (C) drivers, respectively. Activation of the UAS-Prdm13 and several UAS-DUB transgenes elicited distinct phenotypes (arrows).
