Enhancer elements are maintained in cohesin-deficient thymocytes. The Cd8 (A) and the Ppp1r16b region (B) illustrate the maintenance of H3K27ac in cohesin-deficient thymocytes. Binding of the cohesin subunits RAD21 and SMC1A as well as CTCF is shown for reference (see below).
