Nucleosome-depleted regions (NDRs) are narrower or partly filled in Rsc8-depleted cells. Nucleosome occupancy maps for two typical genomic loci illustrate narrowing and filling of NDRs. The data for Rsc8-depleted cells were normalized to those for wild-type cells to adjust for the different total number of nucleosomes sequenced for the two samples.
