Example of a DE/membership matrix. Column Y represents the indicator of differential expression of the various genes (1 for the n DE genes and 0 for the m NDE). Column Pj represents the membership indicator for pathway j. Row gi describes gene i in terms of its differential expression and its membership in the various pathways.
