The pattern of pairwise strict orthologies between the three Caenorhabditis species and the non-Caenorhabditis nematodes P. pacificus and M. hapla matches their known phylogeny. In particular, the numbers of strict orthologs between PS1010 and each of the outgroup species are comparable to those seen between C. elegans and C. briggsae and the same outgroups, suggesting that our protein-coding gene set is largely complete.
