Aligned consensus sequences of lemur-specific Alu subfamilies. The consensus sequences of two human Alu subfamilies (AluJo and AluJb) are from Repbase. The seven lemur Alu subfamilies we identified include AluL, AluL5, AluL6, AluL9, AluLa, AluLa7a, and AluLa7b.
