Transcribed placental genes (and in parentheses: transcripts) in MAS-B and Affy experiments

A gene is considered as transcribed if at least one of its transcripts (splice variants) is transcribed at significance level P < 0.001 using the sign test to score all transcripts. Probes that to at least 50% are within an exon of the transcript are considered. If a transcript/gene has <10 probes, it will be unable to reach a P-value below 0.001 and is in the “Too few probes” category. Total number of genes (transcript) is 264 (1342).
