Summary of the fox meiotic linkage map

Summary statistics for meiotic maps of 17 fox linkage groups (16 autosomes and the X chromosome). Fox linkage groups are assigned to fox chromosomes from alignment with homologous regions of the integrated canine genome maps and sequence, and comparative cytogenetic maps of the fox and dog genomes. Fox chromosomes are identified in accordance with chromosomal nomenclature established for the fox karyotype (Andres 1938; Wipf and Scackeford 1942; Graphodatsky and Radjably 1981; Makinen 1985).
