  • Model assignment was declared as correct if a data set generated under any scenario assuming a single origin was assigned to any geographic origin under the UO model, or if a data set generated under a ME scenario was assigned to any ME scenario. In all, 125,000 simulated data sets were generated under the UO model (over all possible geographic origins), and 45,000 data sets were generated under all considered ME scenarios. Values within parentheses are the mean values of the R90 statistic computed when the inferred origin is correctly assigned.
