(A) KLF4 and TC1 gene expression changes in HUVECs transfected with psiRNA-Neo-Control treated with endostatin. As expected, the two genes were up-regulated after 1 h of treatment. (B) shows how there is no longer up-regulation of KLF4 and TC1 gene expression after 1 h of endostatin treatment when the DOC1 gene is silenced by the appropriate siRNA. (C), in contrast, shows how the up-regulation in gene expression of KLF4 and TC1 in response to fumagillin is unaffected by DOC1.
