Frequency distribution of ancient polymorphisms in pairwise comparisons between M. musculus inbred strains. The percent of ancient polymorphisms was calculated in each of 190 pairwise comparisons between the 20 M. musculus inbred strains analyzed in our panel. Frequencies in pairwise comparisons were assigned to one of 20 equal percentile classes with respect to the percent of ancient polymorphisms.
