For each gene, the boxes numbered 1-16 show expression intensities (Affymetrix AD) in 16 tissues as named; boxes A, B, and S show the average intensity (A) across all 16 tissues, the breadth (B; the number of tissues in which the gene is expressed), and the specificity (S; the ratio of maximum expression among all tissue scores to average intensity). Tissue signals (ADs) and average intensity are coded in red, breadth in blue, and specificity in green.
