Cover The illustration symbolizes the "RIKEN Mouse Genome Encyclopedia" project: the whole system from mouse house to database. The left photo is the BK6 mouse used for sequencing in this project. The yellow cup below it represents the RISA system (RIKEN Integrated Sequence Analyzer). Data output is delivered and stored in a PC, and clones are stored as printed material as in the "DNA Book" in this issue.
