Procedure for analysis of hybridization data is illustrated for position 21–40 of exon 2. All oligonucleotide probes were assigned into one group and named B1 to B7 (refer to Table 1 for probes). The seven probes were spotted in quadruplicate. After hybridization, signal intensities were quantified, and signals with the highest intensities in this group (B5 and B7) were identified as positive.
