The effects of genotype on hole size in mm. The genotypes were derived from the markers near the quantitative trait loci (QTL) peaks. The capital letters A and B represent homozygote genotype for Mrl/MPJ and SJL/J mice, respectively, and H represents heterozygotes genotype. The lower case letters on the top of bars indicate the level of difference in phenotypic value between genotypes. If the two bars share the same letter, the value between the two genotypes will not be statistically significant, but if different, then they are statistically different atP<.05.
