Statistical analyses of significant transcription factor binding sites in the cartilage gene set
Putative binding site of known transcription factors in cartilage gene promoters were identified by PATSER. The binding probabilities were calculated based on the scores of the sites. The log(Pc/Pa) values are logarithms of binding probabilities normalized using all the promoters in the genome. The TRANSFAC classification of binding motif is indicated.
