[i] Comparisons of human and mouse sequences often involve insertion/deletion events. Therefore, the alignable length of exons in this study is sometimes smaller than their actual length. However, in the majority of cases (1104 of 1244, or 88%) alignable length is equal to the actual lengths of human and mouse sequences.
