Overview of genome sketch (GS) construction. A simple example of private relative identification consisting of three individuals with their genome split into four segments, each consisting of six SNPs. In this example, individuals are related if they share all but one segment and are unrelated otherwise. The GS is constructed using sketch elements of length 3 bits.
