Multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA)–based phylogeny of representative MAGs and related reference genomes. Maximum likelihood phylogenetic clustering based on 61 single-copy orthologs shared by all comparison genomes, concatenated to a total length of 7178 amino acids. The software tool dRep (Olm et al. 2017) was used to group all MAGs on species level based on ANI comparisons and to rank the members of each group based on genome quality. Only groups with representatives showing >50% completeness and ≤5% contamination were considered, resulting in 30 groups labeled C1–C30, for each of which only the best representative is compared.
