[i] The number of differentially expressed ESTs was calculated on the basis of two analyses performed in Fig. 3. The first column lists the number of ESTs that were differentially expressed based on their numerically assigned expression values that were categorized on the basis of range of expression divided into the following intervals: 1–49, 50–199, 200–499, 500–1000 and >1000. The second column lists the number of ESTs that displayed at least a three-fold difference in expression between NOV-31 and any EOC cell line. The fold difference calculations were performed after the data was standardized to a minimum value of 50.
