Instructions for viewing Peptide Ladders
========================================

* Files are arranged by Serial Number of the proteolytic site in our table, and the names of the proteins. For example, Case 1 has shows a proteolytic site in two proteins, SO4509 and CN32_0337. The peptide ladders for these proteins are thus present in the files 1_SO4509.txt and 1_CN32_0337.txt

* Each file contains the full protein sequence on the top. The identified proteolytic site is marked by a double star (**), marking the residues between which the cleavage is found.

* The subsequent lines show the peptides, one in each line, that are found near the cleavage site. The spectra counts for these peptides are shown in parentheses after the peptide sequence.

* The files can be viewed in "Wordpad" text editor on Window or Gedit text editor on Linux. In Wordpad, please set the font to Courier and enable the No Word Wrap option to view the alignments correctly.
