Genome Research is now accepting submissions for a special issue, entitled Personal Genomes, devoted to whole genome sequencing, whole genome sequences, and targeted resequencing studies. We will accept submissions of primary research offering novel insights into genetic variation and diversity and technology development with applications to genomic medicine.
The deadline for submissions is February 1. Please submit online at submit.genome.org and indicate in the cover letter that you wish your manuscript to be considered for this issue (include keywords "Personal Genomes").
When considering submission to Genome Research for this special issue, please note that our impact factor recently increased to 11.224, according to the 2007 Journal Citation Reports. Genome Research now ranks third amongst primary research journals in Genetics & Heredity, and is one of the top ten Molecular Biology journals. In addition to its rising impact factor, Genome Research has rapid manuscript turn-around-on average less than 30 days- and posts accepted preprints online within hours. And, as always, Genome Research remains committed to the community it serves, setting standards in data quality and accessibility, and offering an Open Access option for interested authors.
