For Articles listing support from funders with immediate public access mandates, authors may deposit the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) version of their paper in their funder's preferred repository (e.g., the National Library of Medicine's PubMed Central for NIH-funded authors), provided both that (i) the Article is the result of direct funding from that organization, (ii) the corresponding funder is listed in the Article's acknowledgements, and (iii) such deposit is required by the funder. The AAM should be made publicly available in the funder's repository no earlier than the Official Date of Publication of the Article and in accordance with the individual funder’s policy. The Authors are solely responsible for complying with the public access requirements of their funders.
Genome Research deposits all Open Access papers in PubMed Central as each full issue is published.
